Director of Communications

Global production and media company is seeking a Director of Communications to develop and execute internal and external communications strategy, including marketing and social media, to support company’s TV, Film, Commercial, and Studio content. Engage external PR agency to manage strategy and content

MUST HAVE RELATED COMMUNICATiONS EXPERIENCE IN A PRODUCTION OR ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY, STREAMING SERVICE, NETWORK, OR RELATED CREATIVE AGENCY -

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle film, festival, and award submissions
• Must have experience managing external agencies to help execute corporate high-level strategy with top tier outlets
• Manage cross-functional communication across all global offices and organize company events
• Collaborate with partners to execute publicity strategies for various programming and encourage prominent placement in key press outlets
• Must be able to write all press materials, including communication and social media plans, media pitches, press releases, executive and corporate bios and talking points
• Draft company-wide announcements and updates
• Must have and maintain excellent relationships with media and know how to represent company externally with partners at various networks and streaming services
• Support the executive leadership team and maximize their external exposure through strategic media engagement
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to strategize he needs of the business and industry

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5+ years experience in related roles at a production, film, streaming, entertainment, or related creative agency
• A desire to roll up your sleeves and be a relentless collaborator, leader and innovator – and to never stop learning or growing
• A bachelor degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated love and deep knowledge of the production industry
• Great with time management and being flexible
• Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills
