Overview:
In your role as Director, Global Communications, you will be leading the development, management, and execution of strategic communication plans for Hain Celestial Group across multiple audiences, functions, and channels. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling and culture-building stories that aligns with the company’s purpose, mission, vision and values and enterprise business strategy. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, you will work collaboratively with the global communications team, functional teams, and brand teams to ensure message alignment and execution excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft and distribute organizational announcements.
- Partner with internal/external creative services teams to develop company and functional leadership/team videos, webinars, vlogs, etc.
- Act as lead communications business partner for functional team members (HR, Supply Chain)
- Support planning and execution of community and employee engagement.
- Support internal functional meetings and town halls with PowerPoint presentations, key messaging, Q&A, employee surveys, etc.
- Partner with brand and ESG SMEs to amplify brand and corporate reputation communications with internal audiences.
- Lead Strategic design and execution plans of internal communication channels (e.g., Intranet (HUB), Yammer, Newsletters, Emails) to drive employee awareness and engagement.
- Responsible for setting, tracking and reporting measurable KPIs to demonstrate communication effectiveness and progress, and to leverage insights for enhancing future communication programs.
- Develop and manage execution of global internal communications strategies that support Hain’s business strategy, as well as the Hain people agenda and position as an employer of choice.
- Provide communications oversight/council to the company’s Employee Resource Groups.
Requirements:
- Able to work independently, as well as effectively with a variety of internal business partners throughout the organization and external vendors.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in communications role with strong background in global communications, food, CPG, and health and wellness experience preferred.
- Have absolute ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and possess a high level of accuracy with information.
- Strong project-management skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude and provide responsive client service.
- Detail oriented and able to execute flawlessly on projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field with an understanding of communications principles and practices.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including both advanced written and oral communications. Fluent in AP style.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and digital communication platforms.
