B2B Media Director, New York

If you’re an expert in B2B media strategy and planning, with a heavy bias to digital, and you want to develop broader and deeper skills across all aspects of go-to-market strategy and planning in B2B marketing, this is the role you want.

Qualifications
- Collaborator: Works closely with cross-functional client teams including ops, creative, strategy, analytics and account teams to ensure end to end media deliverable aligns with Integrated SOW
- Builder: Enthusiastic about growing a team and practice through organic as well as new business opportunities
- Experienced: 8+ years of experience in digital media planning and strategy working on B2B clients or on a B2B brand
- Leader: You thrive in a leadership role, running the media practice as well as supporting global accounts
- Continued Learner: staying current with industry trends emerging opportunities and can apply this to client opportunities.
- Expert: An expert in B2B strategy, planning and measurement, including having proven experience consulting clients on ABM strategy, ad tech and martech.
- Strategist: Can develop brand awareness, brand to demand and demand strategies as well as the articulating the measurement infrastructure required to deliver results
Requirements and skills
- Experience planning, researching and trafficking media through ABM platforms and partners such as Demandbase, 6sense, Foundry, Madison Logic, Bombora, Demandscience etc.
- Enthusiastic about representing Stein IAS at industry events as well as within thought leadership pieces.
- Experience with budget planning and KPIs forecasting, reporting.
- Part of the Interactions Global Leadership Team including: Digital Media Director, SVP Media Operations and Partnerships, and Chief Innovation Officer
- Proven work experience as a Media Director, Planner and/or Strategist and on B2B Accounts
- Responsible for setting team standard in identifying business objectives for key B2B clients, mining research and data sources to build an insight-based strategy and building actionable media plans.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication and excel skills.
- Understand full funnel media strategy and planning including Brand, Brand to Demand and Demand media tactics and the respective partner ecosystem.
- 3 days a week in office to collaborate with full media and account teams.
- Can build effective advertising plans and campaigns for global enterprises and SMBs.
- Experience leading a team and media practice within a brand or agency environment.
- Deep understanding of B2B audiences, customer journeys and the best data sources to leverage for targeting these audiences.
- Comfortable speaking to biddable marketing channels such as SEM, social and programmatic media and liaising including familiarity with platforms such as Google SA360/DV360, Google Campaign, LinkedIn, Meta
- Manage B2B partners alongside the media planners, negotiating deals for client RFPs.
