Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to lead and oversee the communication efforts for our consumer banking division. As the CCO, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our brand reputation, strengthen customer relationships, and drive business objectives. This is a senior leadership role that requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the consumer banking industry, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a robust communications strategy: Create a comprehensive communications roadmap aligned with the consumer banking division's goals and overall organizational objectives. Establish clear messaging, target audiences, and channels for effective communication.

Build and protect brand reputation: Drive the development and execution of strategies that enhance our brand reputation, positioning our consumer banking division as a trusted and innovative leader in the industry. Proactively identify and address potential reputational risks and crisis communication scenarios.

External communications: Lead external communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging and engagement with various stakeholders, including customers, media outlets, industry influencers, regulators, and community organizations. Oversee media relations, press releases, thought leadership initiatives, and public speaking opportunities.

Internal communications: Develop and implement internal communication programs to engage and inform employees about the consumer banking division's strategy, initiatives, and milestones. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and engagement through effective internal communication channels.

Regulatory compliance is essential. Ability to oversee 100 communications on your team.
