The Director of Client Strategy shapes our clients business development and client relationship strategies to reflect their organizational values, processes, policies, and frameworks. Under the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer, you will assist the executive team establish and execute business development and contract strategies aligned with the company’s values, culture, and strategic goals and objectives; develop, deploy, and maintain the sales pipeline and contract management frameworks.
The ideal candidate understands and embodies our clients quality goals, maintains a high level of autonomy in all work, excels at designing and implementing lean operating processes leveraging workflow technologies, and possesses excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to maximize the talents of their team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Develops a strong understanding of the companies methodologies and identity to ensure they are communicated to prospective clients and partners and leveraged in its program management approach.
● Develop and execute business development strategies that expand the footprint in existing federal agencies and broaden its client base across the federal space.
● Identify new sales opportunities and strategies that lead to winning proposals.
● Build, manage and continuously improve our clients sales pipeline and supporting processes to increase the number of high qualified opportunities, win ratio, and revenue growth.
● Develop and manage the strategic partnership and contracting strategies in support of capturing high value opportunities.
● Evolve the companies capture and proposal processes and assist in developing standout proposal responses.
● Define Proposal strategies, requirements, and timelines.
Qualifications:
● Significant strategic program management experience
● Government contracting experience and knowledge of acceptable ways to propose and win opportunities.
● Must have knowledge of systems required to track and monitor opportunities in the Federal Sector
● Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills
● Have in-depth knowledge of federal contracting practices, strategies, and regulations.
● Must be a strategic thinker.
● Ability to reason swiftly, analyze complex problems, and make prompt decisions.
● Demonstrated results building and managing consulting services pipelines for strategic revenue growth.
● Demonstrated results in refining and operating proposal management processes for federal government RFPs.
● Expert attention to detail across multiple tasks simultaneously
● Experience simplifying complex processes and designing and implementing new operational processes.
Education Needed: Advanced knowledge in business management and/or program management, procurement, and contracts. Demonstrated functional experience with various workflow, CRM, and program management technology tools and applications.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in business development, capture, and federal contracting for top-tier government clients.
