Responsibilities

• Engages for impact to bring key national and local stakeholders together to drive results
• Serves as a member of the national operational finance leadership team and participates in the development and execution of the organization's vision, policies, and short/long-term objectives
• Collaborates with the Ascension leadership to develop and execute business strategies that improve overall performance metrics, specifically focused on financial performance, quality, and consumer experience
• Identify and report undesirable trends and potential business opportunities and make recommendations for action
• Partners with national and local key stakeholders to lead growth initiatives and proforma development including tracking and monitoring the performance of initiatives to ensure achievement
• Forecast the impact of business decisions and expected financial results
• Responsible for financial forecasts and performance against targets for our national supported areas in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Fosters a culture of appreciation, belongingness, inclusivity, diversity, and equity to drive the associate experience
• Prepares monthly operational market variance analysis for the national leadership team

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Healthcare operational financial experience preferred
