Job Description

We are representing a Fortune 500 Manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Site Finance Director. This organization is the global leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Site Finance Director will report to the campus General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.


POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Site Finance Director is responsible for leading month end close process
  • Responsible for 8 direct reports
  • Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
  • Candidate will report to the campus VP/GM and will have a strong working relationship with the North American Director of Finance.
  • Candidate will have total ownership and accountability over the Accounting, Finance, and Reporting function of the facility (500+ employees, $175M revenue)
  • Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
  • Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
  • Participate in projects and support CFO, Senior Director of Finance, and Operations Leadership.


POSTION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required.
  • Experience leading month end close process is preferred
  • Strong understanding Standard Cost and Variance Analysis (experience working with BOM)
  • Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background.
