Job Description

Summary:
In this role, you will serve as a financial liaison and partner to a key Vizient business segment (e.g., Spend Management). You will anticipate business opportunities and challenges while supporting the implementation of the business segment’s strategy to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that sub-domain leaders have accurate information regarding the financial health of the business and can drive efficiencies.
  • Develop and / or improve operating metrics, implement pricing strategy, and develop new complexity metrics for managed services offerings, guarantees models, etc., to enable margin protection.
  • Engage with both sales teams and members with the ability to influence others and facilitate change management as needed.
  • Support the execution of the business segment’s financial strategy and determine key performance indicators to monitor performance.
  • Facilitate financial management of agreed-upon actions to ensure that each action can be measured with concrete outcomes.
  • Establish and develop relationships with senior management, external partners and stakeholders to successfully implement strategies.
  • Provide financial strategic planning and implementation by advising business segment leaders on long-term business strategy and financial planning.
  • Identify potential financial risks and provide financial guidance.
  • Assist with investment opportunities and potential acquisitions.
Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking with the ability to be resourceful, agile, and creative with problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in completing projects accurately and within designated timelines.
  • Effective consulting skills with a client-focused mind-set; building valuable relationships and collaboration; able to balance strategic thought leadership and hands-on execution.
  • Competency in Workday Adaptive Planning preferred.
  • Relevant degree in Finance or other related fields preferred. MBA is desired.
  • Capacity to take initiative, be driven, with a willingness to learn.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong analytical, Profit & Loss analysis, database and spreadsheet modeling skills required.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$117,600.00 - $175,050.00
