Direct Procurement Manager – Materials – Global Pharmaceutical Major - $110k-$130k + Excellent Benefits Package – Remote – Fast-Track Progression Opportunities

Following exceptional YoY profits and the expansion of their product portfolio, this esteemed pharmaceutical major is seeking an ambitious Procurement Manager to join them during a period of growth and manage the Direct Materials Procurement spend. As the organization enters a period of unprecedented growth, this opportunity will work cross-functionally with multiple business units to create effective sourcing strategies for critical product lines whilst forging long-standing relationships with the global supplier base.

As the firm prioritizes innovative working methods, this opportunity will be suited to an individual looking to assume autonomy in their role with a ‘self-starter’ mindset and the ability to identify & implement new methods of working.

Direct Procurement Manager – Materials Role Overview: -

• Manage a circa $50m procurement spend across direct materials for the Americas region
• Work alongside multiple teams from different sites on key projects and make sure that key materials are sourced
• Work with the production team to ensure key materials are procured on time
• Partner with the wider procurement team to create and implement key procurement strategies

Role Requirements: -

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (supply chain, life sciences, chemistry, etc.)
• Experience in a direct materials procurement role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, chemicals or engineering industry
• Experience using Oracle as an ERP system would be beneficial
