Procurement Specialist At Gavin Realty

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's procurement process by ensuring the timely and efficient sourcing and acquisition of goods and services. Your primary responsibility will be to secure the best quality products and services at the most favorable terms and prices, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to optimize the procurement workflow and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks related to procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, or supplier reliability.
• Supplier Performance Evaluation: Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and periodic reviews to maintain a strong supplier base and address any underperforming suppliers.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
• Contract Management: Draft and review procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Monitor contract performance, address any issues, and negotiate contract renewals.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze supplier pricing, terms, and discounts to optimize cost savings without compromising product quality or delivery timelines.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to drive efficiency and productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a steady supply of high-quality goods and services.
• Competitive Bidding: Conduct thorough market research to identify competitive prices and terms, initiate and evaluate bids, and select the most suitable suppliers for specific purchases.
• Procurement Planning: Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs, create purchase requisitions, and develop procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a corporate setting.
