This Global Pharmaceutical Giant is currently undergoing a period of intense growth across their entire procurement and supply chain departments. As part of this growth, the business is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Manager who will lead direct procurement categories (APIs, Raw Materials, Reagents, etc.) in the Americas, and act as a key point of contact for the Global Business Stakeholders.

The Procurement Leader will support the growth and development of core direct procurement categories as well as assist the global leadership team in defining and executing strategic change projects with the aim of improving transparency across the business and driving more cross-functional collaboration to reduce costs and maximize efficiency.

Key targets and responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

• Work closely with global stakeholders to develop key direct procurement categories including Raw Materials, APIs, Medical Equipment & PMI
• Able to act as a Procurement Strike Team to help individual business units on crisis management and critical problem resolution
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal business executives through clear communication and presentation of transformation activities and goals
• Work closely with key suppliers to manage these relationships across the Americas and interact with global teams to implement global SRM strategies

As the Procurement Leader, you will work closely with the Director of Global Procurement to develop your Direct Procurement Categories across the Americas. In addition to this, you will be stepping into a highly complex global environment and tasked with creating an effective global solution to streamline procurement activities to the benefit of all internal business.
