We are on the lookout for a passionate and talented Assistant Editor to join our dynamic team. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead editors in assembling footage into rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining project organization.
- Sync multi-camera sequences and manage media and project archives.
- Implement graphics, transitions, and other visual effects in Adobe After Effects.
- Collaborate closely with directors and producers to ensure the vision and message of the video is effectively conveyed.
- Conduct regular software updates and maintain the integrity and organization of editing workstations.
- Coordinate with other post-production departments like sound and color to ensure seamless integration of all elements.
- Provide input during the storyboarding and scriptwriting phase, utilizing your experience to optimize the post-production process.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional editing experience, preferably in music videos and commercials.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A reel/portfolio showcasing your previous work.
- Basic understanding of sound design, color correction, and other post-production processes.
- Detail-oriented, with an innate ability to tell compelling visual stories.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field is a plus.
