As Vice President, Brand Marketing & Creative, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement strategic marketing plans while efficiently managing the marketing team and guiding the efforts of the creative team, while measuring results to ensure accountability. You will play a crucial role in driving marketing efforts and contributing to the growth of the brand.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
• Lead, manage and motivate the marketing, creative, and social team members to collaborate on new, effective campaigns.
• Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring a cohesive approach to marketing efforts.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities by holding teams accountable for results.
• Coach and mentor creative and marketing team members to enhance their performance.
Creative Leadership:
• Oversee consistency of all creative assets for the website, email marketing, and paid marketing campaigns.
• Work closely on the development and execution of the social media marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with a copywriter to ensure consistent messaging and language across all campaigns.
• Organize and oversee photoshoots, including holiday campaigns, home tours, product photography, influencer content, and more.
• Ensure the quality and effectiveness of visual content in marketing campaigns.
Marketing Strategy Leadership:
• Develop and manage the creative and marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively.
• Collaborate on marketing ideation and strategy, including the creation and execution of a strategic marketing plan.
• Measure ROI on all photoshoots and marketing initiatives.
• Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing success.
• Secure brand partnerships that elevate the company, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.
• Identify opportunities to expand the brand in terms of revenue and awareness, measuring the effectiveness of partnerships.
• Focus on exploring new marketing ideas and assets.
• Develop plans for advertising on various platforms (e.g., Pinterest, TikTok, Google) to expand reach and revenue.
• Maintain a keen sense of the marketplace to target potential partners and analyze their suitability.
• Utilize a high degree of knowledge in ecommerce KPIs and analytics to assess marketing effectiveness.
• Ensure that all marketing efforts are data-driven and aligned with company goals.
Requirements:
• Experience in luxury consumer goods ecommerce marketing.
• Proven track record of successfully running Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and creating marketing calendars.
• Minimum of 5 years in a people management position.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills & experience managing creative / marketing teams and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure ROI and KPIs effectively.
• A deep understanding of the DTC ecommerce landscape and relevant KPIs.
• Innovative thinking and a focus on exploring new marketing opportunities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for creativity and an eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent field required, MBA preferred.
