The Development Services and Experiences (DevX) team is looking for an experienced leader to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our platform API ecosystem business working with domain teams across Intuit, partners, customers, development ecosystem, and marketing and communications. As the P&L leader of the business, you will own the vision, definition, and delivery of platform APIs across domains, and the integrations marketplace and will be a key driver of our developer partner strategy on a multi-product business!


You’ll manage and mentor a team of cross-functional leaders while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams that include Product Development, Product Management, Design, Marketing & Communications, Developer Relations, Legal, and Technology Partner Managers. As a key attribute, this leader loves fostering developer products and communities and enjoys building and growing teams from the ground up. This leader will instill a sense of urgency, accountability, and entrepreneurial drive, and will also have the ability to create and articulate a strategic vision clearly and persuasively both to colleagues within the company including the C-suite executives, as well as to external constituencies.


What You'll Bring


Must have:


  • Experience defining, building, and delivering API and integration products focused on developers and partners as customers
  • 20+ years of experience; 10+ years in senior leadership roles including product management, business development, and product marketing with P&L responsibilities for API product business
  • Working knowledge of modern software systems and API platforms.
  • The ideal candidate must have previous experience in creating product strategies, roadmaps, and GTM strategies for API products and SaaS offerings.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations in small teams and larger groups
  • Experience in growing businesses from the ground up and demonstrated ability to adapt to various stages of product and business growth
  • Ability to set a strong vision for the team and follow through on execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent people management skills to build, inspire and coach a high-performing team and lead effectively in a matrix organization
  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline is required (equivalent professional experience will be considered); an MBA is preferred
  • Knowledge of financial services industry platforms, products, and competitive landscape.
  • Build and strengthen relationships across our business and ensure alignment with the product, GTM, operational, and marketing & communications teams
  • Experience forging relationships, and advising C-suite leaders and key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and writing skills

  • Change management or experience working to shepherd activities with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Ability to work closely with developers as customers and partners listening and taking a customer-focused approach to defining strategy and setting priorities demonstrating a passion for the customer
  • A good understanding of defining and building SaaS services and API-first products and creating solutions
  • Experience in technical and product roles with prior hands-on experience in developing and presenting to technical audiences
  • Experience working in an Agile development setting and ability to drive backlog grooming and prioritization

How you will lead


  • Be a thought leader and spokesperson for growing the business and evangelize to stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Define and lead the vision and strategy for Intuit platform API business and own and drive the P&L for the business.
  • Define market segments, prioritize domains and capabilities, drive developer relations and partnerships to drive business goals, and define roadmaps and KPIs to drive the business
  • Be part of the extended product team to contribute across the Intuit platform
  • Grow and develop a high-performing, diverse team; attract, grow, and retain top talent
  • Be customer-obsessed, acting as the voice of developers in building and developing the API ecosystem and business
  • Take a data-driven approach in prioritizing products, programs, and business needs, creating and communicating plans, and defining success metrics and KPIs to deliver impactful business results
  • Work closely with platform capability teams across Intuit to help articulate the value to achieve Intuit’s business objectives and drive alignment across the organization
  • Be the spokesperson for the business and developer customers; evangelize and create broad awareness for the capabilities and Intuit API products and offerings.
  • Foster an ecosystem approach to the API products with talks aimed at both technical and non-technical audiences
