Join our innovative team, where you will play a key role in building, testing, and deploying machine-learning models, as well as crafting insightful data reports and in-depth analyses. Our health-monitoring platform is dedicated to the remote monitoring of movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and tremors, and your contributions will help us enhance our understanding and treatment of these and other related conditions.
Our platform uses inertial sensor data generated from wrist-worn devices like Apple Watch. Data is processed and converted into health statistics, which are then used for modeling, evaluation, predictive insights, and interactive reporting. These insights are converted into user-friendly reports, interpreted for our users, and provided in real-time to help users with self-improvement and health risk alerts.
Responsibilities:
- Work on predictive models to identify patterns such as extended periods of heightened symptom activity and alert the user about health risks.
- Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to efficiently utilize sensor data for medical applications.
- Create interactive reports and real-time feedback systems based on model data.
- Participate in our ongoing efforts to expand the use of AI and ML to deliver outputs directly to our users in real time.
- Transform diverse health statistics into actionable information for users.
Basic Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields with coursework in machine learning and AI.
- Data infrastructure design, optimization, and management.
- Advanced understanding of mathematics, statistics, and probability.
- MatLab/Python data model design and visualization.
- Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, Pytorch/TensorFlow/Keras.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manipulating big datasets.
- Software design and development experience.
- Experience with Data Visualization and Business Intelligence Tools: Proficiency in utilizing popular data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI to translate complex data into actionable insights, interactive reports, and user-friendly dashboards.
- Expertise in AWS Report Building and Data Analysis: Skilled in leveraging AWS tools and services including Amazon QuickSight, Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Glue for constructing robust reports, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and implementing real-time data processing solutions.
- Experience modeling sensor data.
- Experience implementing machine learning models (e.g., random forest, CNN, SVM).
If you're passionate about data analytics, artificial intelligence and eager to drive innovation within neurological care with AI and ML, we encourage you to apply. Join us in our mission to leverage cutting-edge technology to provide clear, honest insights, and actionable information for self-improvement.
