Job Summary
POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Recruiter. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Area Lead. The Recruiter will have regular interaction with our Department Managers in their assigned areas. This qualified person will manage solid hiring practices with department leaders in order to hire the best talent while providing an excellent candidate experience. This position can work remotely from any location in the U.S. (Please note where you will be located in the application).
Recruiters play an essential role in fueling POWER’s growth with extraordinary talent. In this position, you will implement staffing strategies to provide a technically qualified and diverse candidate pool. This individual will have the responsibility to decipher who will be characteristically and culturally the right fit from there. This individual will ensure Hiring Manager and team preparedness during the interview process and will confirm all interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. This individual will work with Production Departments and TA Leadership to identify future needs and a proactive recruitment plan. This position demands an uncommon balance of delivering results and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and leadership abilities. If you have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently, then this could be the right fit for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ability to travel domestically (less than 10%)
- Leverage social media, networking, online recruiting resources, and an in-house applicant tracking system (Taleo) to identify and recruit the very best candidates
- Create and foster relationships with professional organizations to attract and proactively source qualified talent and diverse candidates
- Administer the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting
- Confers with Senior Management to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and position descriptions
- Evaluate online applications/resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to a variety of position requirements
- Make hiring recommendations to Department leaders and ensure excellent quality of hire
- Maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, becoming the expert in their prospective departments regarding their staffing needs
Required Education/Experience
- Knowledge of general human resources topics (recruiting, application process, interview hiring)
- Must have strong phone presentation skills, professional level written and oral communication skills, as well as a disposition and character that aligns with the TA culture
- Intermediate experience in a Windows environment using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Devise and execute work goals independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Full lifecycle technical recruiting experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Desired Education/Experience
- Knowledge of employment and labor law
- Experience with Taleo Business Edition ATS
- Experience recruiting in the engineering consulting environment
- Familiarity with OFCCP requirements
