Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and motivated High-Volume Recruiter to join our team at Destination Pet, a leading provider of pet care services including pet centers, animal hospitals, and veterinary clinics. The High-Volume Recruiter will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to fill a variety of positions, ranging from hourly to salaried roles, within our pet care facilities.

The position will be responsible for recruiting top talent for our veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in a region. This is a full cycle recruiting position which requires experience managing the entire recruiting process.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for hourly and salaried positions.


Sourcing:

· Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct sourcing to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.


Candidate Screening:

· Review applications, conduct phone screens, and perform initial assessments to identify candidates who meet the job requirements and align with our company values.


Interviewing:

· Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a consistent and fair interview process that evaluates candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.


Selection:

· Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions, considering both the needs of the business and the potential of the candidates.

Offer Process:

· Extend job offers and manage the candidate's experience through the offer acceptance process.


Pipeline Management:

· Maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for various positions, anticipating future staffing needs and proactively addressing them.


Data Management:

· Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates' progress through the recruitment process.


Employer Branding:

· Contribute to the enhancement of our employer brand by promoting the company's values, culture, and opportunities through recruitment efforts.


Qualifications:


Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in the pet care, animal health, or healthcare industry.


Education: associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.


Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders.


Technology: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant recruitment tools.


Passion: A genuine passion for the pet care industry and a commitment to promoting excellent animal care and client service.


Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $60-$75K
