The Job

We are seeking a passionate Content Writer for a part-time, contract position. This role can be located anywhere in the world, with the expectation that the candidate can attend a weekly meeting with our core team based in the Pacific Time (PT) zone. The successful candidate will have knowledge about Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), excellent writing skills, and experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Bard to assist with research and content development. Key Responsibilities

1. Write clear, engaging, and informative blog posts and other content about evidence-based mental health treatments, education, and programs.

2. Conduct in-depth research on various mental health topics, using reliable and scholarly sources.

3. Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT and Bard to assist with research and content development.

4. Ensure all content aligns with TheraHive's mission and meets the needs of our audience.

5. Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.

6. Edit and proofread all content for grammatical errors and inconsistencies prior to publication.

7. Regularly update older content to ensure relevance and accuracy.

8. Attend weekly team meetings based on PT time zone.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role within the mental health field.

3. Strong knowledge and understanding of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

4. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.

5. Proficiency in utilizing AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Bard, for research and content development.

6. Familiarity with sourcing and vetting academic or scholarly materials.

7. Strong understanding of the distinction between psychoeducational services and therapy.

8. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

1. Master's degree in a relevant field.

2. Published author in the field of mental health.
