Job Title: UX Content Writer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months contract – Could be extend depending on budget

MUST HAVE'S:

• 5/7 Years Content Writer
• Strong AEM - They will be editing content on AEM directly

As the sole content writer for our design platform, which encompasses both external-facing and internal-focused content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the identity of the Design organization. You will work closely with our Design Leadership team, collaborating to create clear, concise, and effective content. Through your writing, you will effectively represent the values and goals of over 200 individuals in Design. This diverse group consists of designers, engineers, accessibility specialists, and researchers who work collaboratively to create enterprise technology experiences that have a global impact on people's lives.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clear and concise content for our public facing website and internal design platform, ensuring they are intuitive and easily understood.
• Collaborating closely with leadership, researchers & UX designers to understand business objectives & defining content goals.
• Publishing content on our public facing website on AEM.
• Publishing content on internal design platform on Confluence.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to stay current with content marketing strategies.
• Conducting content reviews and revisions based on user feedback and stakeholder input.
• Implement tagging systems and metadata standards to enhance content discoverability and retrieval. Assign relevant tags and metadata to content assets, enabling efficient filtering, sorting, and search functionalities.
• Conducting content audits to ensure content is aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
• Identifying target audience personas & developing and executing content plans.
• Conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback on content effectiveness.
• Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) to increase visibility and organic traffic.
• Adhering to brand guidelines and voice/tone standards to maintain consistency in content creation.

Develop and implement content governance processes, including style guides, content calendars, and editorial workflows

Required Skills:

• Collaborating with UX designers, researchers & leadership to understand user needs and project objectives, translating complex concepts into compelling, inclusive & engaging content.
• Experience editing content on AEM is a must.
• Ensuring content strategies are aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
• Ensure content taxonomy aligns with the overall information architecture, facilitating easy navigation and searchability.
• Ensuring content is well-structured, concise, and consistent across various touchpoints, including user interfaces, design case studies, and design guidelines materials.
• Conducting content audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations for content optimization.

Education:

• Bachelor of Degree or equivalent.
