Content Writer (Blogs) Jobs

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in creating blog content based on a content strategy and loose brief. Candidate must be knowledgeable about the startup world to understand the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Ideate, pitch, and execute unique, engaging blog content that breaks through the social clutter, creating storytelling themes to address customer/stakeholder needs. Identifies and conveys/pitches compelling stories to be told that align with and advance marketing and brand strategy.

• Collaborate with marketing team and vertical teams to help translate customer stories into compelling blog content to drive brand awareness

• Act as an editor on delivered content from other teams, such as technical content; take content delivered by others and translate it into a blog, editing for style, SEO, and readability and see through to publication

• Build and publish content in our CMS

• Write occasional copy for other digital channels, including website and social media

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in blog writing; experience strategizing and producing high-quality blog content for large distribution in technical topics

• Experience in startups; either marketing for a startup or deep knowledge of the startup ecosystem

• Technical writing experience; experience writing blogs on topics related to AI, startups, cloud, and Microsoft products

• Experience working on teams in close collaboration with product, and engineering content authors to produce stories

• Deep understanding of content strategy, copywriting, SEO writing and execution.

• Strong project management skills and strengths in managing multiple projects/deadlines; ability to set priorities and be flexible in changing environments; goal orientation with a strong bias toward action and tangible results.

• Excellent communicator: the ability to translate concepts and ideas to multiple audience levels and at various altitudes.

• Embrace a growth mindset to drive maximum impact and be curious to learn and try new things.

• Must be able to deliver results with little supervision, self-serve around solutions and troubleshooting.

• Experience using WordPress CMS

• Experience using Adobe Photoshop for editing photos for blog

• Experience using Adobe Analytics
