Description:

"The main function of a of this role is creating consumer messaging/storytelling for a variety of apps that will be used in various consumer marketing channels. This person will write copy for the consumer apps that are part of Microsoft 365 (roughly 17-18 apps), so prioritization and delivering clarity is vital to success in role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Meet with stakeholders to understand goals, collect inputs, determine priorities, and determine subject material to be developed for publication

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated ability to successfully own and run projects end to end including managing multiple stakeholders, multiple inputs, and overlapping milestones, required
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit consumer marketing copy (e.g. product & feature messaging, choice architecture, upsell messaging, taglines & campaign messaging, etc.).
• Familiarity with the Microsoft writing style a plus.
• Experience with WordPress is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft products preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills required.
• Experience with SharePoint recommended.
• Experience working with and applying consumer messaging frameworks (MPFs) across multiple products
• Familiarity with one or more standard style guides required.
• Demonstrated ability to distill a variety of information into a core marketing message, required.
• Must be detail oriented, have strong cross group collaboration skills and be pro-active.

Qualifications:

• Experience in in creating messaging for a consumer audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• 3-6 years experience required
• Bachelor's degree in a marketing, journalism, communications
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills"

• "Think of this role as a marketing assistant/copy writer. knows how to write Marketing headlines, short narratives in store retail type merchandise. This is customer facing copy for all M365 end to end marketing initiatives.
