What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage asset creation, modification, and maintenance at our Fremont location. This person must have a construction background with project/program management experience. We are seeking someone with strong skills in planning and executing projects that are both new and existing. This role will be directly managing assets and working heavily with fixed assets, finance, construction, and maintenance teams. This position will require the ability to communicate with internal and external partners. What You’ll Do

• Lead asset management through auditing, creating, and modifying new and existing assets.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities (potential gaps between process and system) and develop tools that allow for visibility into process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
• Support team growth in critical communication methods and personal development areas. Manage training and find/create new training and development programs.
• Create and develop program reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with team leads across the Plant Operations, Infrastructure, and Asset Management groups
• Act as the gate for new asset creation and asset disposal verifying status and proper documentation at every step
• Monitor key metrics, understanding root causes of changes in metrics
• Develop and implement data cleaning and standardization procedures to improve data quality and efficiency
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset information.
• Ensure all stakeholders (Internal and External) are engaged and aligned to the program goals

What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency with conferencing systems (Tesla is MS Teams Meetings-based).
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction program management and asset management.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, MS Project, Power Bi.
• Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
