Job Description

Role: Claims Associate(Call Center)

Location: United States(Remote)

Contract opportunity

Rate: $15/hr


Responsibilities:

Description:

  • A high-volume call center representative that will be efficiently answering general claim inquiry calls; our representative will also be identifying and directing escalated customers’ concerns to proper teams for timely resolution while providing an outstanding and compassionate customer experience. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Complete all necessary forms, logs documents into the system, and routes them to the appropriate parties
  • Contact or receive contact from customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards
  • Provide back-up for any support functions in the office
  • Handle claim files (locate/request claim files, accurately and thoroughly documents customer interactions, contact other offices/teams, etc.)
  • Accept inbound inquiry calls from customers on existing property claims
  • Retrieve, print, fax, or mail supporting documentation to vendors or others as directed
  • Make contact with customers on newly established property claims
  • Perform clerical duties, including: data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing


Job Qualifications

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with previous experience in either customer service and/or a professional work environment
  • Good organization skills with timely follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Performs routine tasks of basic complexity under general supervision
