Job Description
IOA is on the forefront of revolutionary healthcare models, reshaping the way people can age in place. Reporting to the Senior Director, PACE, the Program Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Senior Director and IOA Lifeways Program by performing administrative duties related to planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing PACE operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Support the Senior Director and Leadership Team in scheduling and organizing meetings with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met in training, emergency planning, and employee qualifications. Monitor and track these requirements for nearly 200 employees.
  • Assist Senior Director and Quality Improvement Associate in audit readiness and ongoing monitoring tasks.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and document staff training including CPR, BLS, annual mandatory training per regulatory requirements, competencies, and other training, as indicated.
  • Support New Hire Orientation and assist with scheduling as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two years of administrative experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong knowledge in information systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint programs, and voicemail.
  • Ability to structure and conduct audits and chart reviews for both staff and participants.
  • One-year experience working with older adults.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize appropriately, and work in an organized manner.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of the requirements of the PACE Lifeways program as well as the structure and functions of the department
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to act as an advocate for frail elders.
  • Ability to work within the interdisciplinary team to support efforts of PACE.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, takes initiative, upholds high professional and quality standards.
  • Cultural competency and the interest and ability to work within a multilingual, multicultural environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. and transfer up to 75 lbs.
  • Five finger dexterities.
  • Ability to reach, bend and walk.
COMPENSATION
  • Range: $ 25.09 - 31.73/hourly
