Solomon Group is a dynamic, fast-growing team of producers, creatives, designers, and builders who specialize in creating live events, broadcasts and experiences that inspire and entertain. Our work encompasses a broad range of projects, from sports and music events to themed attractions, exhibits, and environments across the US. As we expand, we're seeking a Brand Engagement Manager for our Solomon NOW division. We’re looking for a supercharged specialist with event and experiential experience to forge relationships with consumer and media brands.
In the world of sports, we’ve built relationships with some of the top names in the business, including the NHL, MLB, and College Football Playoff. We've produced experiences in the space from music festivals to broadcast entertainment segments, and to brand activations to fan festivals. So many big brands and media groups are building adjacent events and experiences right alongside us in the space, yet we’re not engaging directly with them yet. That’s where you come in.
We know what it takes to create memorable experiences, moments that connect with audiences and drive long-lasting engagement. Now we need a savvy human powerhouse to lead the way and drive new opportunities to engage.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for developing new business relationships, identifying new opportunities, and engaging with brands to help them understand how we can support their experiential marketing and live event efforts. You'll work closely with our super-talented creative and production teams to ensure that we deliver on our promises to our clients, from the initial pitch to final execution.
We seek someone who comes from either a sales/business development background or with senior level producing experience. We want someone who can get into the trenches and engage with leading consumer and media brands to build lasting relationships with them. You’ll be someone who knows how play hard in the brand experiential space, leveraging your knowledge, experience and connection to achieve rapid and sustained growth, season after season.
To achieve success in this, you'll need to be outgoing, curious, and a natural relationship builder. You'll understand that building such trust takes time and effort, and you'll be persistent, entrepreneurial and unstoppable in your approach to each opportunity. Ideally, you'll already have substantial street cred and know your way around the sports and/or media industries, bringing knowledge, and clients, to the table.
In addition to business development expertise, you will also have passion for the experiential space. You will understand the power of immersive experiences to connect with audiences and build brand loyalty, and you will be super-excited to bring your expertise to a fast-growing industry of creating experience and live events at the highest level. Your communication and negotiation skills will allow you to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams will ensure stellar execution each time.
Your Qualifications
You’ll have 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or brand management. You’ll have a strong understanding of branding experiences, especially in sports and media. You’ll have proven skills at building partnerships and driving rapid business growth. You’ll possess superb skills in communication, negotiation, collaboration and problem-solving. You’ll have a curious, entrepreneurial mindset and an unstoppable, contagious drive to succeed. Does that sound familiar?
