Knowledgeable inTCP/IP and SAN, NAS, VTL, and Netapp technologies Knowledge in handling databases backup and restores like MS SQL, MySql, DB2, Oracle, Hana, Backups with VMs
• To prepare business requirement documents for automation/enhancement of the Backup environment, lead pilot and testing efforts of a process rollout including preparation of training material and ensure that customer queries on a new process are responded to.
• Good Knowledge understanding the Issus and Troubleshooting skills findingRCA on the issues. Understanding and good knowledge of design and configuration (familiarity) Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience.
• Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning, and consolidation. Planning for Media rotation, Management, and Offsite Movement Scheduling of New Backups/ Modifying Existing Jobs.
• NDMP backups for various NAS technologies Configuring, Maintaining, and Troubleshooting Database Backups & restorations.
• To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Ensure adherence to the published compliance framework. Monitor by conducting periodic audits to ensure all compliance aspects are adhered to; Analyze and publish reports on the findings; discuss with the concerned stakeholders and follow up on the close
• Configuring, MaintaininBackup and Recovery Administrator/Engineer
• Environment: AWS, AZURE, Linux, Windows.
• Good Document writing skills and SOP preparation.
• To provide support for on-call escalations or L3 level support and do incident and problem management
• Work on value-adding activities such as Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts, and conducting interviews or participation in hiring drives.
