Job Description

Crown Point Technologies seeks a skilled knowledge engineer with ontology experience to support meaningful projects across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and the Department of Defense. Successful candidates will work with subject matter experts and innovative technologies to solve real-world data challenges affecting our clients.


Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in a relevant discipline
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Experience collaborating with both Customers and Subject Matter Experts
  • Effective working independently or as part of a small team
  • Proficient in data modeling with experience using data modeling tools or modeling languages
  • At least 3 years of working experience designing and developing ontologies
  • Demonstrated experience with structured query languages and SQL or NoSQL databases


Desired experience includes:

  • Familiarity with graph technologies such as Resource Description Framework (RDF), Web Ontology Language (OWL), SPARQL, or Cypher
  • Comfortable working within a Linux-based environment
  • Experience within the Clinical Domain
  • Software Development
