Job Description
Responsible for supporting the COBRA/DB benefit administration processes to achieve total client satisfaction.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Be flexible to assist with any other projects as assigned.
  • Working Knowledge of COBRA laws and regulations.
  • Use basic knowledge of, COBRApoint, MBE, and WEX to perform daily tasks in accordance with client’s processing procedures.
  • Analyze & process COBRA/DB correspondence received from participants and employers on a daily basis, including but not limited to, enrollments, termination requests, carrier updates, account adjustments, and payments.
  • Peer review all COBRA/DB information processed in, COBRApoint and MBE.
  • Process Annual Enrollment Election Changes in COBRApoint, MBE, bC, and with carriers.
  • Communicate the status of ongoing work and any escalations in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of COBRApoint, WEX and MBE, and the correlation between the systems.
  • Assist with Dependent Age Out Report and Medicare Report Processing.
  • Respond to CSR Escalations via phone and/or email as requested by PM within 24-48 hours.
  • Assist with manual carrier updates and audits.
  • Verify the carrier has the most current coverage data for each participant.
  • Update department documentation when necessary.
  • Adding and updating participants in COBRApoint, MBE.
  • Planning and organizing daily work to meet client deliverables with moderate direction.


Qualifications


Education and/or Experience - College degree or equivalent work experience, 1-2 years administrative experience.


Language Skills- Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as reports, correspondence, multi-level instructions, procedures and requirements and the ability to converse in a way that allows effective transfer of facts, concepts and other information related to the position.


Math Skills- Intermediate mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with fractions, decimals, percents and all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and ratios as well use a calculator and interpret graphs and tables.


Reasoning Skills- Ability to effectively reason through moderately detailed instructions in combination with the ability to deal with problems involving some concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills- Proficient knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, ability to toggle through multiple screens/programs to locate information efficiently. Knowledge of Travis COBRA a plus.


Environment and Physical Demands- Work is performed in an office environment. Noise level is low.


Regularly required to talk and hear; sit; use hands to handle, feel, write and use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms. No lifting required. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $17.50 - $23.00
