Associate Product Manager - Managed Accounts

The Product Manager job markets assigned annuity products/services. This job analyzes and evaluates market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for annuity products/services. While working independently with limited supervision, this job prepares sales forecasts and budgets and monitors sales volume, revenue, and costs against forecasts to ensure success of annuity products/services.
Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Identifies product/service features to be changed in order to meet customer needs.
• Monitors and evaluates product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas.
• Adapts plans to improve the sales performance of annuity products/services.
• Liaises with advertising specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for the products/services that are consistent, effective and appropriate for the target audience.
• Liaises with other areas within products organization to implement changes.

Additional Responsibilities Include
This role will be responsible for supporting the Managed Account product team in answering business partner and customer inquiries on products. The position will also support product development and implementation efforts of changes, enhancements and maintenance items related to Portfolio Advisor and TIAA Personal Portfolio products.

• Develop and maintain various product worksheets used in testing and validating administration and technology to support the product
• Gather competitive and product intelligence and provide analysis to support product opportunities
• Help to work through marketing opportunities and support distribution teams with training and product knowledge.
• Provide other assistance as required to support product sales goals
• Partner with the Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Digital and Technology teams to execute projects
• Monitor components of the product customer engagement to ensure illustrations are accurate and up-to-date

Base Pay Range: $80,000/yr. - $133,300/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
