Product Associate Jobs

Interested in becoming a product manager, but don't have enough experience yet? As a product associate here at Flip, you'll explore what you really like about building a product -because you'll do it all!

As a Product Associate, get taken under the wing of a senior PM as you:

• Spec, design, and develop different features of our product.
• Handle all the miscellaneous stuff that makes it possible to build, launch, and improve a product!
• Conduct customer interviews, customer success, and product support.
• Dive deep into data - both with BI tools and Excel.

We expect you to move quickly, work hard, and take on more responsibility as you grow.1-2 years in, when you're leading some feature development, data analysis, and other parts of our product, you're ready to take your chosen next step at Flip, whether as a PM or anything else.

Flip's past Product Associates have been former programmers, call center agents, and researchers - what you've done before isn't as important as the skills you have today, and what you can learn tomorrow.

What You Have

• 100% grammatical fluency in English. You'll sometimes write voice assistant scripts, so this is a must!
• A desire to learn and grow. You'll admit when you don't know something, but you'll take notes on it when it's explained to you, and you'll work to use that knowledge moving forward :)
• The ability to think fast and move fast while being careful!
• Technical chops. You'll be doing lots of technical "stuff", like communicating daily with engineers and analyzing data.
• Strong writing skills and excellent verbal communication ability - for speaking with customers, teammates, and because we do make avoiceassistant, after all!
• Are comfortable with the salary range posted.

Bonuses

• You’ve talked with really, really bad IVRs & voice systems, and want to help us improve that experience!
• Have a strong entrepreneurial drive - even better if you have previous startup experience under your belt.
• Basic coding experience - you can write relatively simple scripts.
• Training in design. Voice design has considerable overlap with other design fields!
