About The Team


The Brand Marketing team plays an integral role within Marketing and DoorDash by shaping the brand strategy and the overall GTM plans (inclusive of marketing tactics) for each respective line of business and audience.


Our work is grounded in consumer truths, insights and data, and seeks to break through the noise and drive our brand and business forward. The US Marketplace Brand team owns the way we show up for consumers during the occasions and moments that matter most.


About The Role


We're looking for an experienced Associate Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of our occasions-based marketing campaigns, which use business and customer data to inform breakthrough creative and tie DoorDash directly to priority holidays and cultural moments throughout the year. You will work closely with cross functional partners ranging from our in house creative studio to our growth marketing team, all to ensure creative cohesion across our go-to-market strategy and execution against our key business objectives. Your work will be impactful, innovative, and remarkable.


You will report into the Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing on the US Marketplace team in the Brand organization. This role is remote with opportunities to work in an office near you, and may require light traveling.

  • Work cross functionally with internal marketing teams and external agencies to build best-in-class work.
  • Dive deep into consumer insights and collaborate on campaign strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Have an active role in creating and executing strategic and integrated marketing campaigns for consumers most valued occasions (e.g. Mother’s Day, back-to-school, the holidays), with an expectation to lead specific initiatives from beginning to end.
  • Support the campaign process from end-to-end; from briefing the campaign to playing a heavy hand in the wrap up report.

  • You have a strong attention detail and always look for ways to improve our processes
  • You have 4-6+ years of experience in a brand or marketing generalist role.

Compensation


The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.


Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity grants.


California Pay Range:


$112,000—$178,000 USD


Colorado Pay Range:


$112,000—$160,500 USD


New Jersey Pay Range:


$112,000—$152,000 USD


New York Pay Range:


$112,000—$178,000 USD


Washington Pay Range:


$112,000—$169,500 USD
