Job Description
About The Team

The Brand marketing team plays an integral role within Marketing and DoorDash by shaping the brand strategy and the overall GTM plans (inclusive of tactics) for each respective line of business and audience.

The Brand Team's job is to go beyond the category and speak to the full richness of this customer’s life - passions, interests, communities, etc., uncover motivating insights that unlock business opportunity, and hone in on compelling propositions that are impossible to ignore.

About The Role

We're looking for a customer-obsessed, hands-on Associate Marketing Manager, reporting into the Senior Brand Manager on our DashPass Brand Marketing team. You will help us tell the story of the DoorDash brand through showcasing all that DashPass has to offer. By leveraging data, insights, and your creativity, you’ll develop strategies and campaigns to drive DashPass awareness, acquisition, and brand health. Together with an engaged team, you’ll work to bring DashPass to the forefront of cultural moments and create 360 campaigns on-platform and throughout the marketing funnel - including paid media, organic social, influencer marketing, event strategies, cultural partnerships and more.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building processes to manage complex marketing campaigns and initiatives, communicating effectively cross-functionally to prioritize and align, and reporting results. You will think analytically, procedurally, and creatively, with strong collaborative skills across people at all levels: C-level execs to associates.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Think beyond what’s been done before and proactively help build the future of the DashPass brand.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns; in particular, coordinate tightly with other marketing functions, including brand strategy, social, creative and PR to ensure campaigns fit with overall DoorDash initiatives and communications timelines.
  • Create and execute innovative, integrated marketing programs, managing the full campaign development process from kick-off to in-market execution.
  • Develop compelling creative briefs and work closely with our internal creative team and agencies to develop insight-driven work.
  • Thrive at building processes where none currently exist, helping to build new ways of working and organization that can scale.Develop tactics that leverage insights to create campaigns that bring cultural relevance and cut through crowded conversations.

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You have 4-6+ years of experience in a brand or marketing generalist role.
  • You have the ability to persuade and sell in creative, ground-breaking ideas to cross-functional partners.
  • You have an innate ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, strong bias-to-action, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You are an outstanding communicator comfortable working cross-functionally to develop, inspire, and manage comprehensive planning and reporting deliverables at scale.
  • Your creativity knows no bounds. You are always coming up with new ideas to develop stronger brand stories, and you know how to tie them back to meaningful business problems.
