Role Overview:

PJT is embarking on our own digital transformation to deliver time-to-market success for our clients and management. Most important pillar of this transformation is creating a single view of all our businesses and data analytics through an integrated data strategy and management program.

We are looking for data analyst who can help define and maintain data taxonomy of key business metrics, understand current data architectures to persist critical business data across all business lines. Work with desk/business/management leads to understand critical metrics and relevance to their business strategy. Candidate will drive the data engineering vision, data acquisition, data integration, dataset creation and how we make the data available for sales, support, operational, business teams. Effectively maintain partnerships with all business point persons to ensure/drive adoption of business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Subject Matter Expertise on the key data elements that are consumed for reporting data to downstream and upstream apps
• Drive the data architecture, integration, and implementation to deliver short-term and long-term business focus deliveries using ETL Tools (such as Azure Data Factory / Python)
• Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Management Standards
• Go-live support, investigation of issues
• Design, develop, deploy and support Tableau dashboards
• Perform testing and data quality check
• Work closely with product leads, systems architects, data stewards, and developers to develop Data Cloud Architecture.
• Partner closely and regularly with business teams (Finance, COOs, HR, Compliance, etc…) and come up with ideas how to leverage data and data visualizations
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on assistance in creating, maintaining, and implementing enterprise data solutions

Qualifications:

We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, demonstrated analytical abilities, and a desire to work in a team environment. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Ability to quickly understand and formulate application level requirements pertaining to complex workflows, or integration with external applications
• Snowflake experience is a plus
• 3 to 5 years experience of data analysis tools such as Python, Tableau, Azure Data Products/Services and SQL
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes/functions

Expected annualized base salary of $100,000 to $120,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
