Your Role

The Data Analyst will join the Population Health and Research Team. In this role, you will analyze complex data sets to support population health management, platform improvements and business/clinical decisions. You will partner with the Marketing, Product, Operations, and Sales to provide insights and visualizations that answer critical questions and measure the impact aptihealth on patient outcomes and cost. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong technical experience in SQL (specifically PostgreSQL), be proficient in Python (MatPlotLib, Panadas, NumPy), and visualization tools (QuickSight and Sisense), as well as the ability to apply these skills to inform patient care paths, solve business problems, communicate insights in the form of professional data analytic reports, dashboards, PowerPoints, & other information to the C-Suite & executive teams.

The Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that aptihealth is effectively managing populations in a data driven way. This individual will ideally have interests in population health, public health, or behavioral health and take initiative in better understanding how the data can support these higher-level goals.

Requirements

• 2+ year of experience in business intelligence, data analysis or research studies. (in a healthcare environment preferred)
• Bachelors or higher in an Informatics or Quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management)
• Expert level experience with Business Intelligence tools (Quicksight, Sisense)
• Passionate about being a trusted partner to transform behavioral healthcar
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Strong analytic, critical thinking, and decision-making skills used to identify and solve issues independently.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in data manipulation with SQL, Python, and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to writing publications
• Design SQL queries and data visualizations that deliver insightful metrics to internal customers, while adhering to data visualization best practices
• Consistently analyze data and provide meaningful insight
• Securely manage sensitive data
• Propose and manage research studies relating to our cutting-edge work
• Deftly manage data queries to develop datasets that allow the company to meet its objectives
• Report to management team on key KPIs
• Quickly and successfully understand the company’s business and begin working strategically as well as tactically
• Proactively identify and build out additional attributes and metrics that support business use case needs
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data assets and analytic deliverables
