This position works onsite at our Latham office, 1187 Troy Schenectady Road. Eligible for hybrid/remote schedule after a specific training period up to 2 days per week.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the Credit Union’s data analytic systems to derive value from multiple data sources in support of improved decision making, better member experience, efficient operations, and the overall growth of the Credit Union.

• Work with vendors to identify enhancements and usage of software is at maximum capacity.
• Support the process of creating new products and services within the data warehouse.
• Create and manage departmental dashboards as requested.
• Work closely with Core Solutions Business Analysts, and other management teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications.
• Find ways to automate reporting needs to help eliminate or reduce manual entry errors.
• Become a subject matter expert for the Credit Unions Data warehouse.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on system, process, and workflow implementations that have a direct or indirect impact on the member experience to provide insights and ensure alignment with established protocols.
• Act as a backup for marketing requests and analysis such as develop marketing lists, post-campaign analysis, Qualtrics and Predictive Analytics tools.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Develop, analyze, interpret, and manage a variety of complex data sets. Assemble and analyze raw data for business reports, making sure data report criteria and calculations are accurate.
• Assist with maintaining data definitions and mapping requirements for internal Data warehouse (Prism).
• Support testing of patches and new releases for the data warehouse solution.
• Track and report key metrics to measure the success of efforts to improve the experience of all members.
• Identify the source of corrupted or inaccurate data and work with correct teams to fix.
• Create basic QA test plans that validate data for accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher within Business, Statistics, Math, Accounting or Computer Science. Fundamental knowledge of SQL and visualization software is preferred. Ability to use excellent listening, critical thinking and presentation skills. Manage multiple projects and timelines.
