As an Associate Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will maintain positive and productive relationships with other team members and customers to research and resolve discrepancies related to customer invoices. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Research and identify variances in customer invoices. Communicate discrepancies to both our Customers via email, web or phone as well as the Claims Department via the Smart Sheet link. (50%)
Continuous maintenance of aging reports ensuring customer accounts are current. (25%)
Running various reports for Customers and Management specific to Accounts Receivable as needed. (15%)
Other duties as assigned. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Speaking and Communication: Communicate verbally in an appropriate way for the audience they are speaking to. Listen with full attention to what other people are saying, making sure to understand the needs being expressed, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting at an inappropriate time.
  • Reading Comprehension, Analysis, and Reasoning: Read, analyze, and interpret general business information, complex documents, government regulations, and technical procedures. Understand written instructions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Accountability and Dependability: Arrive to work on time and follow instructions, policies, and procedures. Fulfill commitments made to customers, peers, co-workers, and manager. Hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.
  • Writing: Write routine reports, CRM notes, procedures, and correspondence. Write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
  • Attention to Detail: Monitor and review work for accuracy and completeness. Complete work according to procedures and standards. Maintain an organized workspace and filing system. Understand verbal instructions.
  • Self-Management: Set priorities, goals and timelines to achieve maximum productivity. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
  • Customer Focus: Quickly and effectively solve customer problems and maintain productive relationships. Readily readjust priorities to respond to urgent and changing customer needs. Recognize potentially adverse customer reactions and develop better alternatives.
  • 1 year of related experience or training.
  • Teamwork: Maintain a collaborative approach in dealing with other Simpson Strong-Tie employees. Demonstrate a genuine commitment to reach mutually beneficial solutions.

This job does not require travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Riverside.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
Pay
$19.33 - $24.18 / Hourly
Additionally, you are eligible to participate in our Cash Profit Sharing (CPS) bonus program. CPS is paid quarterly and is based upon company profitability.
