About The Role
The Assistant Accountant role is a perfect opportunity, for a dynamic, people focused individual who has a passion for numbers and is eager to develop a career in finance.
Working as part of our Finance team, based in the Los Angeles showroom in Beverly Hills, you’ll report into the Finance & Operations Manager and work closely with the wider finance team based in Sydney, Australia.
Your role centres on:

• Full function of accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, payments and allocations
• Budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and reporting
• General accounting and ad hoc tasks
• Month end tasks, accruals, prepayments and journal postings
• Bank reconciliation, cost allocations, fixed asset management and balance sheet reconciliations

You’ll be given ongoing training from an experienced, caring & proactive team who’s focussed on smart working and leveraging technology to make our working lives easier.
You’ll also be working closely with a range of stakeholders across the business and will have the opportunity to get involved in ad hoc projects to build your knowledge and understanding of the broader business.
Requirements
Skills & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent
• MS Office experience with a good working knowledge of Excel as a minimum
• Familiarity with Netsuite (desirable)
• Entry to Intermediate level Finance role, with 12+ months experience in a similar function, carrying out key accounting tasks (desirable)
• Highly numerate, high attention to detail, analytical with the ability to think logically
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Already started or looking to commence CPA qualifications or equivalent (desirable)
