The Role


As our Compensation and Rewards Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, management and implementation of attractive, meaningful and equitable compensation plans for our company’s greatest asset, our people. You will serve as a partner on all the compensation related programs, including base pay, bonus plans, incentive plans, budgets, survey benchmarking, data integrity and retention initiatives. You will play a strategic key role on the People Team ensuring our programs are competitive, compliant, and motivating while yet uniquely Lovesac, regarding trends, best practices and procedures by conducting both internal and external market research. Additional responsibilities will include participation in the administration of our annual compensation process, including partnering with all members of the HR team, as well as other senior departmental leadership on pay strategy and design.


This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in one of the 50 United States and should have the ability for occasional travel to their designated HUB or Retail touchpoints or for any meetings and conferences.


Summary Of Key Job Responsibilities


  • Partner with HRIS team on the enhancement, performance, administration and maintenance of the HRIS system.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct appropriate audits for compensation related processes to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all compensation and related laws and regulations.
  • Assist with annual performance management merit, bonus and equity LTIP programs; work with HR partners, line managers, and upper management to ensure process runs smoothly and is completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.
  • Assist with the major compensation initiatives such as review of minimum wage ordnances for our hourly associates, as well as pay equity analysis across the company.
  • Partner with various stakeholders as part of the workforce budgeting process and help with analytics and tracking of annual workforce salary and departmental budgets.
  • Participate in and review market benchmark surveys in all areas, in order to analyze competitive market landscape and develop recommendations ensuring market competitiveness and that programs are efficient, effective, compliant and scalable, as the company continues to grow.
  • Support and advise managers on compensation-related activities, including new hire offers, promotions and salary adjustments and proactively identify issues and propose solutions and recommendations.
  • Review, draft and implement compensation related documentation.
  • Conducts analysis and maintains compensation reports and queries; maintain compensation data ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Act with integrity and trust, modeling behavior that respects our employees, peers and customers in accordance with the core values of our company.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with our company standards.
  • Monitor effectiveness of current programs and make recommendations for changes, model cost impact and present recommendations.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to other members of the People Team. Advise on pay decisions, manage required audits, policy and guideline interpretations.


Qualifications


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in Word & PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-lookups) required.
  • Exemplify each of our Lovesac values, at all times, be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs, goals and deadlines. Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing compensation administration practices; knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law, tax codes, and human resources practices preferred.
  • Knowledge in pay management, variable compensation and incentive plans.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, HCM, data governance and reporting and equity management platforms.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or other related discipline preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, and ability to be discreate while handling confidential information; can work well in an ever-changing environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as being very detailed orientated.
  • Our customers have the opportunity to shop with us seven days a week and select positions may require availability outside of normal weekday hours.
  • Must comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook and work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times.
  • 1-2 years of Compensation & Rewards experience in a public company. Retail organization experience preferred but not necessary.

Associate pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level and competencies.
