As an Administrative Assistant Manager, Associate, you will be responsible for all levels of administrative and control-focused support. You will provide oversight and management of administrative assistants and general support of their day to day business functions. You will also assist with the hiring, managing and coaching initiatives for our administrative assistants in our Corporate & Investment Bank.
Job responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, manage relationships with internal business partners across multiple LOB's in the Corporate Investment Bank (both in North America and Globally)
- Build consensus around key initiatives
- Enforce a dynamic control/ compliance environment and continually mitigate risk in business processes
- Lead day to day team activities and manage coverage
- Provide thought leadership in strategic direction to improve productivity and leverage to the business
- Advocate for the administrative staff needs
- Motivate individual and team performance
- Lead the performance management process for direct reports and participate in compensation planning
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Comfortable working with all levels of management
- A self-starter who is organized and consistently meets deliverables
- Strong and independent problem solving skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to listen well and influence others
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service / Client facing experience
- 3+ years of related experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Prior experience in an Investment Banking or Financial Services organization is preferred
- Human Resources and/or experience managing large teams is preferred
