Accounting Manager | Private Club | Miami

Luxury, members-only club in Miami is seeking a poised professional with experience in accounting and IT. Graphic design, social media management and back-end website experience is a huge plus! This unique position requires someone with an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to problem solve.

• This role is not a hybrid or remote position and will require being on property 40+ hours a week
• Must be based in Miami - no relocation offered.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Interact with club members regarding accounting and AR matters.
• Ensure each department is staying within the budget
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and collaborate with the General Manager (GM) to approve bills on a weekly basis using bill.com.
• On-board new employees into the ADP system.
• Provide assistance with administrative tasks, such as document control and contract administration.
• Interact with the membership director as required.
• Make timely bank deposits.
• Oversee account receivables (AR) including membership billing and events.
• Make credit card purchases and provide receipts on a weekly basis.
• Interact with vendors to ensure smooth transactions and resolve any issues.
• Close NorthStar (POS software) on a monthly basis and generate necessary reports for MEP.
• Record deposits in NorthStar, specifically relating to events and membership.
• Process daily credit card transactions.
• Support the GM and event department with ad-hoc tasks.
• Regularly audit comps and voids
• Collaborate with MEP and ownership on month-end closing tasks.
• Process payroll every two weeks using ADP.
• Manage the petty cash fund.

IT Responsibilities:

• Repair printers and maintain the print server to ensure functionality.
• Restore and fix iPads and computers.
• Maintain and repair all KDS.
• Fix internet connectivity issues at the beach by replacing hardware.
• Collaborate with each department to simplify their platforms and resolve any inconveniences related to NorthStar.
• Keep and control all admin access for any of the platforms.
• Manage access to different systems.
• Simplify the ordering system for servers, providing them with upselling options and streamlining the order placement process.
• Oversee and maintain all data.
• Adjust settings on any Module of NorthStar to optimize functionality.
• Maintain and repair all POS terminals.
• Update and improve the reliability of the POS system for staff use.
• Provide technical support to all management and staff regarding the systems.
• Maintain and ensure proper communication between all systems.
• Maintain and update the Grab & Go system to increase revenue and keep inventory under control at the beach area.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

• Save and maintain all the marketing data.
• Create a once-a-month Newsletter for the members.
• Maintain website updated
• Manage access to social media accounts.
• Create flyers and posters to be distributed to members.
• Ensure that all marketing materials distributed on the property follow the brand book.
