QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in transportation vehicle maintenance

· High School diploma or equivalent in a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in transportation vehicle maintenance

· Clear and valid driver’s license with CDL or ability to obtain CDL with P and S endorsements within six (6) months

· Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience

Preferred

· Texas Association for Pupil Transportation Certification

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Ability to direct and manage operations of a large fleet of vehicles

· Knowledge of energy management, vehicle repair, and maintenance

· Ability to conduct on-site inspections of all vehicle repair and maintenance operations

· Ability to manage budget and personnel

· Ability to use technology to plan, operate, monitor, and evaluate transportation operations

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
