Interwell Health is seeking a strategic and collaborative senior clinical leader to join our remote team as the Vice President, Healthcare Operations, leading the virtual clinical operations team. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of the virtual clinical program and the multidisciplinary clinical care team across the nation and will ensure the achievement of value-based clinical performance through scaled operations. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in leading high-performing multi-disciplinary clinical teams as well as deep knowledge and experience in delivering value-based care and clinical performance at scale. We are looking for a senior clinical leader who wants to lead strategic execution achieving Interwell’smission of reimaging kidney care!

The work you will do:

• Develop, execute, and evaluate initiatives and strategies for all operational aspects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and clinical outcomes.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess operational performance and identify areas of opportunity.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to the clinical operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the Senior Vice President, Healthcare Operations to manage the operational budget, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational optimization while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
• Build and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to providers and payors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance overall organizational performance while promoting effective communication to achieve shared outcomes.

The skills and qualifications you need:

• Experience scaling a high-growth organization
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations
• Ability to design, execute and evaluate the overall operational strategy of virtual clinical operations in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Minimum of ten (10) years healthcare experience, preferably with care delivery for patients with kidney disease or other chronic illness
• Active clinical licensure (preferably RN but will also consider SW, RD, Pharmacist, or others)
• Demonstrated success as a Senior Leader in driving and implementing operational strategies that drive organizational performance and improve patient outcomes.
