Job Summary
The Global Client Solutions Executive, Commercial Solutions is responsible for driving profitable growth and operational delivery for the company’s Commercial business within assigned accounts.
You will represent the whole spectrum of the business’s portfolio within Commercial across assigned accounts and ensure that robust strategic growth plans (Gross Awards, Revenues and Profit), P&L targets and excellent operational delivery are developed and attained. Your responsibilities also include managing to and achieving quarterly and annual targets, development of robust strategic plans to drive growth, solutions design, development and oversight. You will partner to support cross selling initiatives that drive support the growth across the Commercial business. You will also involve the necessary parties in the development and execution of those plans. You will expand and maintain relationships and you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and strong operational delivery resulting in customer expectations being exceeded, and a resulting increase in market share. You will operate in a transparent, proactive, collaborative, and accountable fashion. You will have exceptional achievement drive and an eye for developing talent. Job Responsibilities
Individual Contributor Role: The Global Client Solutions Executive, Commercial Solutions reports to the Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts. The first and most prominent role of the Global Client Solutions Executive, Commercial Solutions is to provide leadership for their assigned business line over the assigned key account(s). You deal in the achievement of excellence and insight in order to surpass customer expectations. In this position, you will proactively participate and contribute to the strategic account planning process and executes performance objectives, sales targets, KPI’s and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual periods.
  • You will build strong and long-lasting relationships with customers through the creation of long- term planning and understanding. This also done through the establishment of a solid understanding of the competitive market to realize how best to acquire and retain high value relationships and customers. You are accountable for ensuring customer ecosystems are mapped and is expert at guiding stakeholders through complex customer decision making processes. You understand customer company culture and work processes and ensures all who interact with customers are briefed and understand the nuances of working with them.
  • You will achieve sales, revenue and profit goals and strategies that advance the key accounts’ performance and enables the achievement of the departments’ as well as the business’s financial goals.
  • You will drive and oversee the development of account specific growth strategies and approaches for assigned business line under direction of the Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts. You must understand customer strategic plans and can readily craft solutions that help the customer achieve their overall strategy and growth plans as well as those of the company.
  • You will lead efforts in assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on a regular basis. You will also develop solutions that best address customer needs while simultaneously coordinating the involvement of the necessary stakeholders inclusive of support, service, and resource management in order to exceed key account performance objectives and the customers’ expectations.
  • You are highly collaborative, you work to create cross-functional engagements and understandings with appropriate departments to align goals and approaches that facilitate smooth achievement of key account objectives, develop and execute change initiatives that impact and influence the organization to be more customer centric.
  • You will gather research and data on customer(s), the market and the competitive environment to identify growth areas to exceed assigned targets and KPI’s. You will partner with appropriate entities within the corporation to gain critical business intelligence. You will gather, compile, analyze and create formal reports and presentations that will be used collaboratively in the formulation of decisions and strategies.
  • You will be accountable for the achievement of the account’s assigned targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of the assigned business line and business’s overall objectives.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably a Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience
  • You will have a strong executive presence and able to flex your style to effectively interact and influence customers and internal constituencies
  • You will have a demonstrated ability to secure and leverage internal resources from the organization to accelerate performance of customer success
  • You will possess strong financial acumen
  • You will have the ability to assess and escalate all solutions that change quality-risk paradigm
  • You will have a proven and successful track record in establishing strong and long-term customer relationships, being able to retain existing business and develop new business.
  • You will have a demonstrated ability to develop solutions for assigned line of business
  • You will demonstrate a high proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel, which are necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • You will have a demonstrated ability to develop strategy, performance objectives and initiatives for assigned line of business in consultation with Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts
  • You will be successfully able to map customer strategy, culture and ecosystem in a way that enhances business opportunity identification and success
  • You will have a demonstrated ability to effectively translate customer needs (expressed and unexpressed) into a successful account plan that drives growth in share of market
  • You will have 10+ years of combined Pharma/Biotech related industry experience; key account experience is preferred.
