Job Description

CSG Talent are retained by a computational and AI company with strong academic roots and recently had a very impressive series A from Tier 1 investors.

We are looking for a VP of Business Development with experience working with AI and software products used by Pharma in research.

Responsibilites

  • Identification of interesting strategic partnerships to advance position in the market
  • Understanding the client's scientific challenges and defining approaches to solve them with digital pathology and AI
  • Continued alliance management to ensure roadblocks are removed
  • Managing the scoping and contract generation process and seeking input with cross functional teams (scientific, technical, quality, legal and management) through to contract execution
  • Identifying prospects who fit our client profile according to our existing core capabilities of AI
  • Contributing to strategic marketing plans through representations at conferences, input to marketing literature and continued market research

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Can pick up medical and technical concepts quickly
  • Good eye for detail in written and visual communication
  • BSc/PhD in a scientific field or MD
  • Excellent communication skills, strong collaboration skills, enjoys working in teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a young and rapidly growing company
  • Reliable, directed and thoughtful with demonstrated strategic problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in working with biopharma in the precision medicine space

Preferred Additional Qualifications (non-essential):

  • MBA or other relevant business qualification(s)
  • Previous experience with AI-based products/technologies
