Vp Medicare Operations Jobs

Job Summary
Responsible for overall planning, organization, start-up organization, direction of the Medicare operational areas of El Paso Health as assigned by the President and CEO. Reports operational related data to internal, as well as external, organizations and agencies, including the El Paso Health Board of Directors, the El Paso County Hospital District Board of Managers, and El Paso County Commissioner’s Court, as required.

6. Leadership ability, communications, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians, management, staff, and external agencies/customers.
7. Solid organization skills.
8. In-depth knowledge of community/state health care resources.
Work Experience
Seven years of supervisory/Management experience required. Strong experience in Health Care operations including data collection, data analysis, and designing reports as demonstrated by work experience. Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access database software and as well as detailed reporting. Experience in a managed care or insurance environment, preferably in Medicare.

Education and Training
Masterr degree in Business or Health Care related field required.
