We are seeking a Member Enrollment Specialist who is passionate about connecting and engaging new members into the Oshi Health program. As a core member of the clinical team, you will take pride in supporting our mission to drive towards achievement of our member acquisition goals. You will have access to ongoing training and support from both the Clinical Leadership & Member Marketing teams to help you deliver on your monthly and quarterly goals.


What you’ll do


  • Data & Reporting: Manage key reports and track relevant data to identify successes and drive refinements in operational processes.
  • Member Engagement: Drive achievement of member acquisition targets by supporting a high volume of new members in enrolling and scheduling their first appointment through use of various channels: i.e. introductory phone/video calls, Live Chat, SMS, email, and/or in-app chat.
  • Technical Support: Assess for and address any technical difficulties that could be preventing member enrollment.
  • Member Education: Engage potential members and proactively educate members about the Oshi Health Program, build trust, and personalize the value of Oshi to the member’s unique health care needs.
  • Efficiency & Prioritization: Ability to own the outcome with timely responses both internally and externally with potential members, appropriate prioritization, and the ability to independently assess the level of communication and outreach required to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Billing & Insurance Expertise : Verify eligibility and insurance benefits to effectively respond and answer questions regarding insurance coverage, billing, and payment processing
  • Care Coordination: This role will work alongside the care coordination team and receive cross-training in care coordination tasks and responsibilities to support full cycle member engagement.


Who you are?


  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a healthcare coordination, member enrollment or engagement type role, preferably in a digital healthcare environment
  • Comfortable and competent with using common administrative technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Office or equivalent), experience delivering on telehealth platforms preferred.
  • Completed a degree in a health and science related field, i.e. biology, psychology, health science and nutrition, nursing, etc with training in motivational interviewing.
  • Background knowledge in navigating health insurance plans and coverage on the part of patients. Must be able to provide breakdown of benefits analysis to consumers.
  • Needs to be able to work in a cross-functional interdisciplinary modality and effectively create solutions for complicated patient concerns.
  • Must be detail oriented and present critical analytical thinking skills with exceptional communication skills and focus on customer centricity.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and willingness to adapt working style and schedule as needed to achieve the identified enrollment targets is required.
  • Fluent in healthcare terminology or working understanding of clinical concepts.
