Lucrotec is an innovative financial technology company specializing in transforming business-to-business payment processes. Our mission is to empower companies of all sizes to optimize their payment operations and reduce costs. As we continue to expand our services and clientele, we are searching for a dedicated, experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Vice President, Finance.
As VP Finance and reporting to the Lucrotec CEO, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial management and administration of the company. This position will involve managing budgets, payroll, banking, compliance, and other finance and administrative responsibilities. You will also interact with our outside tax firms when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial reports and analysis to the executive team, supporting informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with our outside tax firm for all tax-related matters, including planning, reporting, and compliance.
- Identify and manage financial risks that could impact the company.
- Working with Human Resources, you will oversee Lucrotec payroll operations including tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and finance regulations and requirements, both internal and external.
- Ensure company’s financial statements are accurate and comply with GAAP, including managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and working with auditors.
- Assist in strategic planning and business development, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Implement and maintain financial controls, processes, and systems to support company growth.
- Refine and manage the company's financial model, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Manage banking relationships to include cash management, account setup, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize company-wide financial performance.
- Refine and manage the company’s budget, working with department heads to develop budgets and track actual results, making adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess an MBA with 10+ years of experience in a technology company specializing in payments, expense management or accounts payable. Certifications such as CPA, CFA or CMA are highly desired.
Location
Lucrotec, with offices in New Jersey and Virginia, has a primarily remote workforce.Your official location will be remote.
