We are looking for an innovative and experienced Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to define and execute a massively scalable channel partners strategy. As the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying Shakudo's distribution and sales funnel expansion through highly impactful partnerships with prominent ecosystem members.


This role requires deep familiarity with the Enterprise Data, AI, and Kubernetes space, as well as extensive experience in partner and vendor relation management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead an integrated channel strategy aligning with Shakudo's business objectives, and enhancing Shakudo's reputation as a trusted partner for deploying data and AI stacks solutions.
  2. Establish strong relationships with potential and existing partners, liaising extensively with vendors building products that are part of the modern data stack, data providers, data heavy business tech stack vendors (e.g., HubSpot) and cloud providers marketplaces.
  3. Secure strategic partnerships, maintaining a steady flow of sales pipeline through targeted initiatives and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention amidst existing partners.
  4. Align channel initiatives with marketing strategy and product offering, collaborating closely with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure channel strategy complements the overall business goals.
  5. Measure, analyze, and report the effectiveness and growth of channel partnerships, leveraging data-driven insights for continuous refinement and strategic decision making.


Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Sales, or a related field with a strong focus on working with large enterprises in the data, big data platforms, and AI space.
  2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful channel strategies that generate significant growth and have high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
  3. Demonstrable experience in channel partnership management, preferably at a VP Level in a venture backed startup environment. At least 4 years of startup experience is required.
  4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, lead and influence at all levels.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with expertise in engaging and influencing C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  6. Ability to thrive and make quick decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or other relevant post-graduate degrees holding an added advantage.
  8. Willingness to relocate to Toronto, ON, Canada preferred.
