Department Overview
The Solutions Team is responsible for ideation, planning and execution of strategic product initiatives for the Firm with a focus on driving growth and profitability. The team collaborates with Firm leadership and business unit leaders to plan and execute high impact projects such as new fund launches, product extensions, customized separate account vehicles and new multi-product strategic partnerships. The team also oversees and seeks to optimize the Firm’s existing suite of investor products.
Position Responsibilities
The candidate will play a leadership role in developing innovative new investment products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the execution of sophisticated, high impact new product development and implementation initiatives
- Developing relationships with senior executives, department heads and external partners
- Building and maintaining financial models to determine the short-term and long-term impact of new product initiatives
- Training and mentoring junior team member(s) in developing high-quality work such as financial models, analyses and presentations
- Providing significant leverage to the Solutions Team and Firm leadership on management of investor product lines
- Conducting market and competitor research and developing new product ideas across investor segments, geographies and investment strategies
- Negotiating legal documents and business terms with separately managed account clients and working with the Investor Partners Group to explain product proposition
- Leading the design and execution of new versions of existing products
- Providing recommendations for how to solve critical business issues and distilling complex information into a user-friendly, digestible form
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to interact with senior management and external constituents
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong project and process management skills and ability to multi-task
- High level of intellectual curiosity with a desire to develop and implement innovative new product solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work
- Substantial experience in developing, structuring and launching new investment vehicles and products, preferably within private credit or alternative assets
- 8+ years of experience at a top-tier financial services, investment management, strategic consulting or private equity firm in a product development and strategy capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits
For New York City Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $230,000 to $300,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
