Summary Of Position


® The role of Vice President of Operations at Anthology is to drive the regional directors of operations (RDO) team leads in the execution of the business strategy.The individual in the role oversees the operations of a large portfolio of communities divided into three regions, with multiple specialists to support operations. This individual will work collaboratively with other operational department leaders and peers to identify issues and create strategies to solve in the field. Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living buildings are our specialty, and we have everything from stabilized communities to new openings. You will be joining a team of motivated do’ers that love seniors and are constantly striving to be the best.


Your Mission


® Serves as a leader to motivate regional and community teams and enforce company policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations


® Act as the primary conduit between the field and Support Center for all operational matters and communication


® Provides guidance and assistance in handling family, resident, and/or employee complaints to regional teams


® Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and ensure that communities are meeting their budgets on a monthly basis by monitoring monthly spending and meeting net move ins per month to effectively move business strategy forward


® Assists with recruitment and selection regional team members and Directors as needed


® Work with Talent to strategize employee retention and candidate attraction plans to drive success


® Manage operational risks and issues as they arise in the field


® Collect KPIs in all business areas and provide coaching to teams on performance improvement


® Work collaboratively with other operational department heads to ensure effective communication


® Makes periodic visits to communities and conducts formal site visit reports, along with identifying potential issues or risks and coaching staff to maintain alignment on goals and objectives


® Standardize onboarding and training initiatives, as well as data analysis for on-site teams


® Work closely with accounting/investments team to develop detailed community business plans and roll out to communities


® Work with sales & marketing team to develop quarterly marketing plans and monitor sales performance in assigned communities


® Ensure communities/site teams are effectively follow the business plans that have been identified


Your Track Record


® What Degree: Bachelor, or Masters preferred


® 10 plus years VPO or equivalent experience


® Preference To Candidates With Experience In The Following


  • Significant experience in the senior living sector
  • Multi-site operating team/platform
  • Private equity ownership model
  • Familiarity with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) business model
  • Private pay revenue model
  • High quality communities in top-tier markets
